Wave Race: Blue Storm - [ Gamecube ] - Intro & Gameplay
Since we're reaching the months of summer again, it's once again time for some more water & sports inspired games. This is;
Wave Race: Blue Storm
Developed by Nintendo as a launch title for Gamecube, Wave Race: Blue Storm is the third game in the Wave Race series. A series that's been praised numerous of times for it's water physics ever since N64 days til now as weather effects and other factors on the stage create random waves that may interfere with racers ability to properly navigate the course.
I never had much experience with Wave Race as a kid nor teenager nor young adult. I played it briefly at some point along with Hydrothunder for PS1 but aside from that, it just wasn't a game I'd go out of my way to get. But the emphasis on Jet Skis and water was the thing that made me never forget the series.
The various graphical glitches you may spot is not on the part of the game's fault, but the part of mine for using widescreen. Even though I'm using a Gekko code in Dolphin, it still doesn't want to give me 16:9 resolution properly and thus causes some minor graphical glitches.
