Here's some short footage of all the characters from Wayward Saga as we finish up work on the game. Every single one has a different playstyle, which can be altered and customized further by finding loot that changes their abilities. I've included a few scenes with the warrior, so you can see a small portion of what different equipment can do.

All levels you see are randomly generated. The first couple sections of the game aren't too difficult, but then the game really starts to demand that you master your character's skills. We strove for precise controls, without using any buttons. All footage you see was taken on an iPad, using the default touchscreen controls.

Some notes on the scenes, in order of appearance:

0 seconds - Warrior running around the third area of the game. This is where the game gets difficult, but before it really starts to become brutal. Warrior has almost his default layout here, except he found some bracers that increase his chance to do double damage.

28 seconds - Adventurer in the second major area of the game. He's using a sword that cuts down the amount of healing he gets when he goes to the next floor, btu does random powerful lightning bolts. His lantern move does damage over time until you have to run and put it away, and it also protects him by destroying enemy projectiles.

42 seconds - Cultist is one of the random variant level types in the third area. I zoom out here so you can see how the game screen actually looks on an iPad. Note the lack of attack buttons, the only thing is the top-right scroll that leads to your pause menu. The Cultist is very strong in damage, but is probably one of the hardest to play and most fragile classes.

1:04 - Paladin, who is the character you play in the tutorial. If the game does well, we plan on making him an unlockable final character. Also, I just recently uploaded a new, full video of the tutorial. There's nice rain effects. It's at http://youtu.be/kzml-Sa1C5o

1:44 - Spellsword, who is a lot like a slightly weaker Lexi from our previous game, Mage Gauntlet. He's probably still the most powerful class. He may be tweaked to be a little weaker in the final version, though I think it's ok if all the characters aren't necessarily the same strength.

2:10 - Warrior again, now with a new weapon. This one changes his normal Power Attack to now be a spinning attack that can hit more enemies. These get sent flying because he hit them at just the right moment when they were pouncing. We plan on making the animation fancier before release day.

2:17 - Mage in one of the rare variants of the first area. Even her basic attacks are long-ranged and very strong. She's also extremely fragile, and has abilities that help her deal with danger when cornered.

2:30 - Rogue in one of the variants of the third area. She's either extremely powerful or fairly weak, depending on how well you're playing. I was playing a little sloppy here. If you can dodge behind enemies or stun them, the backstabs do a lot of damage.

2:53 - Warrior one more time, in the first area of the game. Except now it's a special mode where everything is much harder. He's got all his equipment swapped out for new stuff. One replaces his throwing axe with "hurlbats" that pierce through enemies. Another swaps his sword with a big mace that creates small shockwaves. And then he has a very heavy, but very durable shield.

We're now fixing some last bugs and making little improvements where we can. We plan on submitting the game by the end of this month.
