As well as grinding the alien event today. I am also focused on grinding for Treasury Notes to ear the other half of my t-65 power armor I have been building.

Here is more about the event:
Invaders from Beyond will start every hour at the top of the hour. At first, an Alien Mothership will appear above one of several high-profile Appalachian locations to deploy three Brainwave Siphons in the area.
The 6 possible spawn locations of the Mothership are:
Dyer Chemical (The Mire)
Garrahan Mining Headquarters (Ash Heap)
Monongah (Savage Divide)
Wavy Willard’s Water Park (Toxic Valley)
Sparse Sundew Grove (Cranberry Bog)
Charleston Capitol Building (The Forest)
You don’t need to find the location the Mothership is spawning before you can participate in the event. Simply use the “Join Event” function on the map and you’ll be where the action happens.
To start the event, you need to travel to the Mothership’s location and examine Siphon Kappa.
When the event begins, your task is to destroy all three Brainwave Siphons, one after the other, before the aliens can complete their Brainwave Extraction process.
Each Siphon is protected by a force field, which is controlled by a different Alien Commander. Defeat alien forces to draw out the Commander for each Siphon. Take out the Commander and the force field will drop, allowing you and your event mates to destroy the Siphon.
If you manage to demolish all three Brainwave Siphons in time, you will receive some loot, XP, and have a chance to earn plans to craft new alien weaponry and C.A.M.P. objects.
According to the Fallout 76 Datamining Discord, all of the weapon and weapon mod plans from the event stop dropping after you’ve learned them. Also, they aren’t tradable (exception being the alien blaster mod plans). The Alien Blaster plan is still tradable. This only refers to weapon/weapon mod plans. The C.A.M.P. plans keep dropping.
If you complete the event, you get a random pick of the ‘rare’ rewards.
