Yup, we have no idea what we are doing. In this Gameplay video for Nightshade for the NES we play as a sweet dude in a duster, hat and sunglasses....who fights an Egyptian Jackal looking dude. And thats how far we get. Basically just the first few minutes.

In this Nightshade video we quickly discover that we have no idea what we are doing. Nightshade is a NES game that is a mixture of point and click adventure game and an action game. But it is for the original Nintendo... so the entire input system is based on the d-pad and four buttons, and it makes it very difficult. This is also a fighting element in like, the second screen of Nightshade you can get your world absolutely rocked in a fight with some english guy or something.

Nightshade seems like a game ahead of its time, I can see really clever and awesome elements of it, (including very weird humor) but the game is just so hard because of the controls available to it. Its a shame, because I really wanted to like Nightshade going into it, but I just couldn't play it well.
