We Dummied Up the Engine Bay -Turbo Cortina Roll Racer Update
22In this episode Dan gets a bit more done on the Turbo Cortina Roll Racer. The electrical is coming along so he had to pull his finger out and get the Engine bay dummied up so Ben can get the engine loom completed in nice and neat.
Its been a while since we had a weekend with fine enough weather to get the car out and swap the blocks over so its way overdue, but we had a sunny weekend and the swap was done. Now I can get the good block off to the engine builders. The brake booster was also removed to make more room for the turbo. I will be using a remote booster. And it looks like we might use an electric water pump witch will require a bit of fabrication, but that's for another episode.
We are hoping to have the Turbo Cortina Roll Racer done by the end of this year and on the track for racing. So we are going to step up the pace on getting the engine done and rebuilt.
