I used a few shader packs to get that look going.
MARI FX being the main one. It has a GAMEBOY shader making the whole scene greenish in color. like the original Gameboy !

Also PBR textures for a nice shine and a few other addons to make the gameplay feel more modern. Now we have DOOM II ETERNAL 1996 GAMEBOY EDITION !

❗DISCLAIMER - I MOSTLY show modcombos running on a Snapdragon 865+/888+ and a 8/16gb ram phone . That's High End Hardware . If you have a mid or low end device it's absolutely possible those mod combos I show will run extremely slow or won't even start .
that's not an issue with the APP . You NEED high end hardware to run these mods on mobile at 50% resolution . Even I can't run them at 100% with all the mods and add-ons I use .❗
