The main Metroid series has been dormant for many years, only seeing less than stellar spin-off titles and a remake in the past 20 years (not including Other M of course). If we want Metroid to make a come back, we need to be accepting of the direction the franchise may be heading and help promote Metroid Dread to help expand the community in order to let Nintendo know that we want more Metroid. It would be a shame if Metroid became yet another F-Zero or Pikmin.
