Ahead of the 2019 Le Mans 24 Hours, the organisers of both the famed event and the World Endurance Championship unveiled firm plans for the hypercar rules that will form the top class of sportscar racing for years to come. Speaking from Le Mans, Gary Watkins explains to Jack Cozens why this was such a huge moment in the WEC's existence, plus what to expect from Aston Martin and Toyota, who have already confirmed they will build cars to the new rules
