What has happened in the month since our last episode?
The Tick is all over nerd news right now. August is going to show us some new Tick comics AND the new Amazon Prime live action series.
The Boondock Saints are getting a prequel! Boondock Saints: Origin is going to be a TV series. Not like any series we have seen though, the production team is trying to fund the show entirely through fans, and then also distribute directly to fans once it has been funded.
Fallout is getting a tabletop game. Is this the thing that is supposed to satiate us until Fallout 5 drops in a few years?
Venom movie has a star... TOM HARDY! Seriously. Strange casting choice because of the age difference between Hardy and Holland. But Tom Hardy is a phenomenal actor and Venom is one of the main reasons I ever read Spider-man. So, I am super excited!
And then the final point for the description: Hellboy is getting an "R" rated reboot. This is the point we should discuss the most this time around. Is this movie studios FINALLY understanding that the 50s are over? Or is this just a pandering move to make a quick buck? I am excited to hear your thoughts in the comments section.
