Weirdos Synopsis - An Animated Family Adventure Short Film

Missing children, mysterious footprints, and strange sounds, all point to one thing: proof positive that monsters thrive in the forests of New Orleans! Humanity’s second-best chance - Middle school misfits Jasmine and Owen, who are on a quest to become the most popular monster hunters ever! If their fantastic science fair failures, social media antics, or frenemies don’t stop them, the wonderfully weird beasts of the night will!

Paul Hollingsworth, a Canadian writer, director known for: Harry Potter Magical Movie Moments and DC Toybox Adventures stop-motion animated series.

From a Canadian small town, Paul's aspiration to pursue an animation career led him to journey across North America, South America and Antarctica. On this voyage, he skillfully shot and edited projects ranging from travel shows to car racing, delving into paranormal experiences, ghost sightings, bigfoot encounters, and even penguins.

After immigrating to Los Angeles, Paul founded Digital Wizards Studios, a haven for talented and individuals—artists, actors, and technicians—who share a passion for pushing the boundaries of storytelling. Digital Wizards Studios developed the first VR180 stop-motion animated film for Google and their films continue to push the limits of imagination every day.
