1Welcome to the very FIRST episode of DayZ w/ The Rangers Clan. Now this was recorded ages ago, back when the DayZ Early Access Alpha was released so you may notice A LOT of things missing and many things that have changed since. Also, at this point I did not have my superior setup and so audio and video quality is lacking. My apologies for this, and I hope the later parts make up for my amateur beginning. Enjoy!

Salutations fellow survivor of the apocalypse! Welcome to DayZ! This game, is really unlike any other game out there. It, in my opinion, successfully creates a believable world in which zombies have taken over and the few survivors are left to fight over the scraps of supplies scattered throughout cities, towns and villages of an area spanning over 225km2 or over 85mi2. If you've ever watched the critically acclaimed TV show “The Walking Dead”, well this game is the closest thing to actually living in that sort of world. It's not the zombies that make this game fun, intense, scary, and rewarding, it's the players. Player interactions are what it's all about. Is the stranger you run into a friend or foe? Will he shoot me on sight or can I trust them? Are they a threat or a possible ally?
These are the questions you face in DayZ and it's up to YOU to forge a path in the barren wasteland that is Chernarus. The are many dangers and treasures awaiting you. Join in and become the zombie survivalist you always wanted to be!
*PLEASE NOTE*
This game is still very much in its alpha stage during which it will be receiving numerous patches and bug fixes. There are many gameplay elements still missing, such as drivable vehicles, added weapons and equipment, and countless more features that were in the mod that this game is based on.
