I start with the mood and the setting, both important elements to a good game. Form there I move on to the conflict in your game, not the combat. I talk about the different types of stories you can create from these. I move on to the plot of your game and plotting out the scenes in order to create your game properly, this includes talking about beginning, middle, and climax of your game.
