What are Relays? How do relays work? How to wire them and use them in our vehicle or other electrical circuits?
This tutorial will show you how Relays are commonly used in automotive 12 volt circuits to power all manner of auto related equipment, like radios, AC, amps, subwoofers, alarms and more. Understanding how relays work means you can safely and easily work with auto electrics.
In this subscriber requested introductory video, I'm going to show not only the theory but a real life application of 12v Relays at work. One subscriber wanted to fit courtesy lights under each door of his car. Another wanted to fit a third braking light. Here I make it clear, after a simple introduction, how a Relay can be safely used to add additional circuits such as the ones mentioned and much more. Finally Iโ€™ll build and test a working example and relate this to the theory in an easy step by step approach.
