What Happens When You Put An Evercade Cartridge In A Super Pocket Handheld?
0The Evercade platform allows you to purchase games on the cheap, typically under 20 bucks, and there are generally multiple games on one cartridge. This allows people to go ahead and collect games from the past that may be cost-prohibitive now on their original platforms and enjoy them in beautiful high definition. In July 2023, HyperMegatech, a company I had never heard of previously, announced a new handheld in the vein of a Game Boy, which promises to play the library of Evercade cartridges. In addition, two special editions and color variants are coming, a Taito edition and a Capcom Edition. Let's take a closer look.
Evercade compatibility:
Super Pocket is compatible with Evercade Cartridges, allowing you to play up to 500+ games on 45 Evercade cartridge collections. (cartridges sold separately)
Taito Edition
Super Pocket Taito Edition comes with 17 fantastic games from the Japanese arcade giant including Space Invaders, Operation Wolf, The New Zealand Story, Rastan, Bubble Bobble, Elevator Action, and more alongside the console classic Space Invaders ‘91.
Capcom Edition
The Capcom Edition Super Pocket has 12 highly acclaimed arcade games from the Japanese publisher, including Street Fighter II’: Hyper Fighting, Final Fight, 1942, and more alongside the console great Mega Man.
