14My blind let's play/ playthrough of Return to Monkey Island! It's been such a long time coming, and I never expected it, but Return to Monkey Island is finally with us! Ron Gilbert, Dave Grossman and co have released a brand new Monkey Island game that will finally answer the questions we had at the end of Monkey Island 2: LeChuck's Revenge!
In this episode, we head back to town to look for clues about Carla's past! We check out the Re-Elect Governor Carla Poster to confirm she's dedicated to dedication, and then look at her Statue to find out the answer we needed was Santo Domingo! We head back to the Governor's Mansion and write our apology on the Forgiveness Frog, which means Carla forgives us! We ask to borrow the Ingredients book and this time she says yes! We take the book back to the SCUMM Bar and give it to the Cook! While he's cooking, we take the Mop but he's waiting for us at the Door! We try again and this time use the Knife to cut some wood off of it, which we take to Wally! He makes us a Map, so it's off to the Forest to follow the Trail! We reach the Clearing and use the Knife on the Tree which sees Guybrush commit an absolute atrocity! We use the String on the Wood to make our own Mop! Now we just need to figure out this Thousand Needles thing!
