What If events went differently? What If Link failed to halt the descent of the moon in Majora's Mask? What If there was another turn of events in an alternate timeline? Today's video will showcase a good friend of mine 'Josh James" who came up with a fantastic video game what if fan fiction where Link had failed to halt the moon.
We'll be taking a look at the Nintendo 64 slash GameCube Zelda game, Majora's mask. Released in Japan on April 27th in the year 2000 for the Nintendo 64 and brought to the GameCube 3 years later in 2003. The game was the fourth best selling game in the year of 2000 and sold over 1 million copies in the U.S earning over 72 Million dollars in revenue sales. The game won multiple awards, for it's game design and action packed gameplay.
It's impossible to argue that this Zelda game has become a true classic, but what if things occurred differently. Majora's Mask takes place in the parallel world Termina. This world is a mirrored version of Hyrule created from Skull kids memories by the power of the Majora's mask.Termina is soon caught in a 3 day time loop that returns to the day Link enters Termina once the moon above the land hits the ground.
Link goes on a grand adventure against time to rescue this mirror world from it's limbo. In the original timeline of Majora's mask, Link must rescue four giants with the power to stop the moon. But this time, something goes wrong.
