That’s a crazy question to ask. It would be like saying “What if there were no Death Star in Star Wars?” Or “What if there were no Infinity Stones in the MCU?” Maybe that’s precisely why this is the perfect What-If to try. I’m honestly a little baffled that we haven’t done this one yet. But let’s forget the past and focus on the now. The Tailed Beasts have been the McMuffin of the story of Naruto all the way to the final confrontation of the Fourth Shinobi World War, so a lot of things will change. But we do need to question what the title “What if There Were np Tailed Beasts” actually means. Are we just going to say that Tailed Beasts as a race never existed? If so, that puts us into a precarious position, as the Ten-Tails is the entire reason why there is Chakra on Earth. So for this, I will insinuate that the Ten-Tails doesn’t count to this and still existed. Everything in Naruto will play the way it originally did up to the point where the Sage of Six Paths split the Ten-Tails. That’s where we will see the beginning of our change. It will all start by simply changing one suggestion from one character. That will see the change of the series on a grand scale. I hope you found some popcorn and a blanket, because it’s time to get this rolling!
