Hey folks, MasakoX here. From the beginnings of this little chestnut, the idea for Vegeta becoming a Super Saiyan seems like the most obvious and vanilla story you could possibly think of; if anybody were to get it, it would be the prince of all Saiyans. That being said, the premise behind this particular story is the TIMING, pure and simple. With Vegeta becoming a Super Saiyan first, before anyone else (including Goku), it changes practically everything in terms of the pecking order. With Vegeta ruling the roost and heralding the idea of Super Saiyans, the prince is incredibly stubborn and unwilling to let anyone else question his way of thinking...or else they will be very much in his bad books...and possibly jeopardise everyone and everything in the universe.
In the last part, we had the battle between Good Buu and Evil Buu look like it was going to go the same way as it did in the original...however, things did deviate slightly...well I say slightly, I mean by quite a bit. Vegeta chose to take down Evil Buu on his own...and then became part of him. With Buugeta now a thing, the team had to come up with a very quick plan...and that plan was to get Goku to work with Buu in a similar plan - fight fire with fire and all that. Good Buu had a plan to absorb Goku willingly and the two fight as one whole, as the likes of Buuku. Gohan had done his best to allow the fight to go in another way, but the fact of the matter was that Buugeta was pretty ruthless with his approach and incredibly stubborn. Now with this battle about to reach its peak, what kind of situation will come about - will stubbornness or friendship win the day?
