Today Elsric talks about the Heightenings of the Nalthis Investiture known as Bio-Chromatic Breath. Each person born on Nalthis is given a single Breath, a kind of extra Investiture. You can give your Breath away, or you can receive Breath from others. As you collect large amounts of Breath, there are metaphysical changes that occur. Each change is maked by an amount of Breath needed, and a specific set of abilities that are gained. From having perfect pitch to effective Immortality, holding Breath grants the Awakener many advantages. In fact, this Breath is the key to Elsric's longevity as he explores the Cosmere.
