CLUMSY CONFESSIONS! Let's Play Doki Doki Literature Club - Part 4 (Blind)
Welcome back to The Doki Doki Literature Club Part 4!
Sayori is taking my friendship with Yuri kinda hard it seems. When we get together to share our poems today everyone is acting rather strange. Sayori is dismissive of us and so obviously faking her happy attitude it almost hurts. Natsuki is also very frustrated, calling us out in our efforts to emulate Yuri. She actually yells at us and doesn't even show us her poem. But Yuri... well her poem is almost a love poem written to us. What on earth is going to happen now, especially when I am asked to help her over the weekend...
Doki Doki Literature club is apparently a mind-bending visual novel. It seems to play off the more cliche aspects of Visual Novels and Anime yet promises to be something far more sinister later on. As the self-named protagonist, you are introduced to the school's small Literature Club. The club has four other members. Sayori, your neighbor and childhood friend. Yuri, the soft-spoken fantasy novel enthusiast. Natsuki, the baker and closet otaku. And finally Monika, the peppy club President who seems way out of your league. So far the visuals and sound design are fantastic, especially for a free series. I have to tip my hat to Team Salvato for their viral title and look forward to following their work in the future.
