Reserved constituency are constituencies in which seats are reserved for scheduled caste and scheduled rribe on the basis on their population size.
reserved constituency is needed because weaker section like SC, ST and women have no proper access to resources, and education. They cre facing discrimination and harassment from centuries. So to connect them with the meinstrean reservation was needed.
