What is Mewtwo's role in my crossover project? (Read description)
Although I just now made him appear in my crossover comics, it's time to know the role of another powerful character, and we have the infamous Mewtwo, the original God of Pokemon back from the classic Red/Blue days and still remains a nasty force to be reckoned with to this day. We all know Mewtwo is the gene-splicing abomination clone of Mew, presumably mixing the Mythical Pokemon's DNA with that of humans, engineered to be the ultimate Pokemon (despite younger fans argue Mega Rayquaza or Arceus nowadays), at the deadly cost of making it extremely dangerous and ruthless in personality, even though in reality he's a very smart but confused individual. Nevertheless, he's a fan-favorite for a good reason. I recommend watching Mewtwo Strikes Back/Mewtwo Returns or play the original Gen 1 games to see how destructive Mewtwo can be.
While the Mewtwo I am mainly talking here is the familar masculine one from First Movie, I'll confirm the second, feminine Mewtwo from the Genesect movie (who serves as his younger sister) alongside Mew are also around, and I am in good terms with all three. But the original Mewtwo always bring my character self goosebumps, and there is a reason.
This artificial being's Psychic powers rival that of the mighty Super Eeveelutions, his intellectually is even greater than my 175IQ, and like myself, isn't quite hesitant about going full force in combat. Not to mention, Mewtwo just look frightening for a humanoid and he's tall - 6'7" in height like an NBA player. In the Pokemon World, he is viewed as a god; He even sometimes works with God of Destruction Beerus to help maintain order of evil or unruly powerful people causing trouble on the Earth. He even knows how to do Hakai in my canon. Another scary fact is he can erase memories - something even Super Espeon can't do, but it does not work effectively on me, as I have the power to counter it. Although their levels of individual strength isn't entirely the same, I view Mewtwo as an equal threat as Beerus. Under normal circumstances, in the event of a fight, Lv.2 or Lv.3, like the Super Eeveelutions, is needed to face him, but he can obtain a rare, tremendous boost to force me to use Lv.4 (NOT Mega Evolution), especially when combined with the M16 Mewtwo. Is he stronger than the Super Eeveelutions? No, because Lazuli herself can optionally combine her alter-egos' powers into herself to create her true form, and can rival Super Saiyan God strength.
Little first met Mewtwo in the exact same way as in the original games - become the Pokemon Champion and enter Cerulean Cave. However, I was entirely alone, smashing any Level 40-65 Pokémon out of the way before reaching Mewtwo himself. Although I had a Master Ball in hand, I chose not to capture him, because when we two fought each other to a draw that actually destroyed the entire cave, I said it wasn't worth it, especially when I already have the Super Eeveelutions. Mew and M16 Mewtwo had seen the fight and made peace terms between us four, and then met the Super Eeveelutions altogether. But in the end, the original Mewtwo is still a high-ranking rival like that of Goku and Beerus.
As for the Movie 16 Mewtwo, also known as "Newtwo", who is more like a woman and originated in Gen 5's Unova, she is on the peaceful, more heroic side than her slightly stronger older brother. But like the Super Eeveelutions, she too is a fierce warrior in combat, as you would expect from a Mewtwo. Little even said that she reminds him of Princess Celestia and his wife Cadence in the MLP World in terms of personality. Little doesn't worry as much when she appears though fighting her does make him quite nervous. And, Mew, the original Pokemon they're based on, though powerful and serve as the watcher between them, this Legendary has great terms with me though meeting Mew is rare.
Both Mewtwos and Mew are well aware of my own powers and background, and they see me as an extraordinarily unusual human. As of now, my comics will have them tell me a certain warning about Lazuli's race before joining in their normal life.
If you're wondering what my inspiration is, I mostly based their roles from TC-96's comic Mewtwo series along with mixing my childhood memories of the Pokemon. They're in my playlists. Ironically, both my Super Eeveelution and Mewtwo ideas generally came from fan media rather than official sources...
