0mostly, this is a (crude) simulation after all,

although developed with floppy drives in mind other impulse sources like stepper motors work too.
the video is a save-replay of the creation process which took place over roughly 3 days, simulated facecam added for comedic effect, the save-replay heavily skews time when document moving to make the viewing experience better, just something to keep in mind,
