It's rare to hear me really amp up RPG Maker,
but it is experiences like this, that reinforce my firm belief
that RPG Maker is not an engine that can be 'replaced' by anything.
And you know that I'm an avid user of many other engines.
Just to clarify -- and you already know this about me --
I don't think any engine makes any other engine obsolete.
And I think there are projects that make each engine
the perfect choice for a dev.
But this is a clear, clear win as an example for this engine's use case.
