The minds behind the Marvel comic books have just dropped a giant piece of information on us, that could have a huge impact on the upcoming Venom sequel!
If you’re a fan of the comics, you might know that the mythology of Venom and Carnage has been re-written and expanded over the last little while, to reveal the existence of Knull, an Elder God. According to Marvel, Knull might just be the most powerful character ever to cross the pages of their comic books. For those who don’t know, Knull is the first being to ever come into existence at the very beginning of the universe, and is now known as the God of Symbiotes. When he was first brought into being, he actually molded the living abyss around him into a weapon called All Black: The Necrosword. All Black was actually the first symbiote ever created, and in the hands of Knull, would be used to extinguish all light in the universe for millennia. There are a few different Knull stories in the comics, and one of the craziest has got to be the Absolute Carnage series. In it, we see a small piece of Knull injected into the body of Carnage, which goes just about as well as you’d imagine it to.
After an internal battle Carnage wins and basically takes on all of the godlike powers that Knull possessed. Carnage, never one for subtlety, embarks on a plan to find and devour everyone Venom has ever come in contact with. There is so much more information about what could happen in the new Venom sequel below, so check it out!
