This one wins the gold medal.

In 2013, Brazilian Billionaire Chiquinho Scarpa made a killer announcement on social media that he was planning to bury his Bentley luxury car, worth around $500,000. He invited all the country media to do the live coverage

Reason: He loved that car so much that he wanted to drive it in the afterlife.

He said that he was heavily influenced by the Egyptian concept of burying the Pharaohs with all the gold and other expensive ornaments so they could use them in the afterlife.

Needless to say, his announcement drew a lot of falk on social media, with people labelling him as silly, selfish, stupid, and sadistic. He was called muttonheaded, thick-skulled and birdbrained.

Some expensive organisations even gave free advice— Donate to Charity da.

Then, on D-day, when the media was there, he dug a huge pit and lowered his car there.

‘Don’t do it da, please,’ told the crowd.

‘Why? My car. My wish.’

‘It is such an expensive car. You are only spoiling it. You can’t carry materials to the next life da. We come alone. Go alone.’

‘Dei, just like that, you also cannot take your eyes, lungs, liver and heart to your next life. If it is absurd to bury cars, it is also absurd to bury bodies, which can save many lives. Nothing is more valuable. Be an organ donor. Tell your family also.’

The Bentley Burial event was actually a publicity stunt to promote the importance of organ donation. He had partnered with the Brazilian Association of Organ Transplants to spread awareness about the cause, and his announcement was part of a campaign to encourage people to donate their organs.

It was super successful and there was a whopping increase in organ donation in Brazil by 31.5%.

All because of the crazy flex of this man. Respect.
