I lost my old Twitch channel that had more followers, so I made a new one to try and rebuild—but even though it started okay, the momentum just died off. I realized most people on Twitch are other streamers, and that kind of support usually doesn’t last. It’s hard to build a real community when 8 out of 10 viewers are creators themselves, focused on their own grind. So instead of trying to push through that again, I decided to go with YouTube. It’s slower, but the viewers there feel more genuine, and it just makes more sense for the kind of audience I want to grow.
