I think Copyright Notices on cutscenes is bad for gaming. I agree with the rules and understand them and don't think they are wrong. They are there for a reason and I believe in them and will follow the rules just like everyone else. But the way things are so haphazardly done is where things get confusing. Certain Nintendo games that do and others that don't. It seems like an experiment on their side to see if YouTube videos really do influence things. That is actually a good thing if they are doing that as an experiment instead of them existing as a relic of their old ideas. I don't know.

All I know is that it prevents people from showing love for certain things and only gives them an outlet to express frustration. We all know that giving people an outlet to express their love for something results in positive things. I am able to express my love for Wii Music on this channel and it is why I started the channel, those videos are also the most viewed series on this channel. No one else I know of on The Internet loves Wii Music in the way that I do, and I don't understand why. Making videos are an important way to express love for something.

For certain games that blend gameplay and cutscene in amazing ways, like Bayonetta, having boss climaxes and interactable cutscenes that have copyright notices show up on them ends up preventing us from showing some of the most unique and great things about the game. Also, any type of forced editing like that detracts from the experience, and something like Metal Gear Solid, even though the cutscenes are long, are all about putting you into a certain state of mind before going through a certain piece of gameplay, and I value that highly as another way a game can express it's uniqueness and create new experiences.

Peace! :D
