Today we will figure out why IT courses often do not live up to expectations. Many people come with the hope of quickly mastering programming and getting their dream job, but the reality turns out to be much more complicated.

Superficial training - courses provide ready-made recipes and templates, but do not teach how to think like a developer.

Lack of practice - projects are often formal, far from the real tasks that developers face.

High cost - you pay thousands of dollars for knowledge that can be obtained for free or cheaper, but deeper.

Expectation of a "magic button" - courses promise a quick path to IT, but without self-study and constant practice, this is a myth.

Weak support after the course - many students are left alone with the job search.

We will discuss how to really learn and develop in IT: combining online courses, books, your own projects and mentors.
