When Do You House Rule Board Games?
House rules can completely change how a tabletop board game ends up playing, so how often do you actually customize rules, and to what degree? When interacting with a board game's components, there's nothing stopping you from adjusting numbers and rules, so you can go wild with making meeples, cards, and tokens all do totally different things than RAW (Rules as Written). That's one of the best parts about anything tabletop; with some rulebook changes, you could feasibly house rule monopoly so hard it becomes more like catan, and nothing's stopping you from doing so. But now we wanna ask you: how often do you house rule board games in your collection, and how heavily are you changing those rules?
