Incredibly, modern Formula One cars have run at the Nurburgring Nordschleife a number of times - Heidfeld in 2007, Schumacher in 2013 and Vettel and Coulthard just last year.

But just how fast were they, and what kind of lap time would a 2024 car do around the worldā€™s most dangerous circuit?

At 12.9 miles, the Nordschleife is the worldā€™s longest permanent circuit, it has the biggest elevation change. Itā€™s bumpy, narrow and a wonderful mixture of technical and incredibly fast race track.
