When Overwatch is so bad you have to play Mei to enjoy it, you know that something is wrong. Unfortunately, I found myself doing pretty well in competitive and genuinely having a great time. Often considered a throw pick, Mei is pretty badly misunderstood because she isn't really a DPS and while some throw her into the off tank category because of her ice block and wall mitigating damage, I see her as a self sufficient beast who is capable of controlling the team fights by division, powerful cc and scary critical damage. So long as the team is ready to act, Mei can be absolutely devastating.
