27Oliver Panis' crash at the 1997 Canadian Grand Prix effectively ended his season. Whatever chance he had of winning for Prost and his minor championship hopes, which Jacques Villeneuve rated, disappeared there and then.
For us, we are destined to get an opportunity Panis didn't. Let's not blow it...

This is the eighth part of a series where I play through the Psygnosis and Bizarre Creations classic - Formula 1 97 for the Sony Playstation.
Despite owning a copy of this game for over 20 years, I have never completed the game and won the World Championship. So I have teamed up with Olivier Panis to see if we can change that!

HOW TO GET INVOLVED
Submit a prediction in the comments on one of the F1 "Justice for..." videos.
The prediction could be about our performance, the AI results, about a single race, or the whole season - creativity is encouraged!
If the prediction is correct, you pledge a donation of your choice, which will go to a charity at the end of the season!
Last season we raised a small amount for Laureus Sport for Good, and this season a different charity will be announced.
Predictions can be submitted up to the Portuguese Grand Prix. I am keeping track of all predictions made so I can show and/or talk about every single one in an episode of the series.
Pledges to donate are purely on "the honour system".
In other words if you make a pledge, I won't be chasing you about it if your prediction is correct - it's purely down to you if you choose to follow through with your pledge.
I appreciate not everyone has the disposable income to donate to charity, and that circumstances can change from when you make the pledge to when it comes time to donate.
This is just supposed to be a bit of fun for a good cause.
