We’ve all experienced that early game analysis paralysis where you get your first batch of points to drop into your character. You go through all the choices and then begrudgingly place points fearful that you have locked yourself into a lifetime of sadness and misery due to poor life decisions. In this video I’ll rank the various skills in 7 Days to Die by tier (S, A, B, C, D, & F) to hopefully help you avoid some sadness. You’ll be equipped to choose a solid life path through the wasteland … whether than be as a slugger, a shooter, a crafty engineer, or something else unique.

Additionally, I’ll share my stop 10 starter skills to get you on your way for your first run if you are at a loss for ideas. These are great for beginners just starting in 7dtd who are looking to jump into the fray. These should also still leave you open to experiment with builds later on without having throw away skills that you will never use.
