Which Cards Are Impossible To Play?
10,914There are handful of legal cards in the game, which are actually impossible to use under normal circumstances
Elemental HERO Neo Bubbleman requires you to send a bubbleman and Metamorphosis to the graveyard to bring it out. The only problem is that Metamorphosis is banned.. So the only way to actually legally bring the card out is to ignore its summoning conditions with something like A Wild Monster Appears! .
Avatar Of The Pot, Spirit Of The Pot Of Greed, and Jar Robber, all have effects that are tied to Pot Of Greed, a card which is currently banned. While the two monsters can still be played for their stats, jar robber is completely unusable, as its incredibly specific counter card designed to counter pot of greed.
And finally we have Guardian Elma, a card that requires Butterfly Dagger - Elma to be on the field in order to bring it out. However it has the same problem as the other cards, where it's key card is banned, so the only way to bring it out would be with something like a wild monster appears just like Neo bubbleman.
So out of all these cards we just talked about, the one that's basically completely impossible to use is jar robber, being the most impossible card to play in current Yu-Gi-Oh.
