Each week the BWI Daily Edition opens up the mailbag to discuss what fans have on their minds from the last week in Penn State sports. Today, Nate Bauer and Sean Fitz put the finishing touches on the Biscuit Hagans hiring and then answer questions from fans. Today's topics include the transfer portal, linebacker depth chart, and receiver room.

Now that things have settled in with Marques Hagans as the new receivers coach, have opinions changed about the hire? Bauer gives his first impressions of the hire and discusses what he's learned about the view of Hagans and what he represents in the position. Fitz has addressed this topic several times this week, but the more information he gets, the more Fitz thinks he sees things differently than he did when Hagans was initially hired. Finally, he discusses what he means by that and expounds on the outlook for the newest receivers coach for Penn State.
After wrapping up that discussion, the duo moves on to the mailbag questions for this week. The first question wants to know the deal with Jaylen Reed regarding his Rose Bowl game injury. Fitz and Bauer discuss what they know about the situation. Next, they interpret what that means for Reed's participation this winter and spring.
