The item turned out to be a gold pendant from the early 1500s. It was shaped like a diamond and had images of a saint and religious symbols engraved on it. The back of the pendant had a tiny compartment that once held a sacred relic. Experts later confirmed it was a rare and valuable religious item from the Tudor period.
