🗒 ️ Project Notes:
What is this calculating? Essentially, it's the ranking for which legends are winning the most based on their playerbase. Given that it's data from every rank, it's not going to be "accurate" to top level play, but it's quite interesting nonetheless.
Of course, taking purely winrate/playrate and normalizing these two variables won't be a perfect way to analyze the match data. Given the scope of this project as a first go around though, it serves its purpose. You can think of the COCS score as a sort of "underrated rating" that values fewer players getting better results.
This was very fun and if someone is more familiar with statistics and how to generate a list like this, let me know! I can also do this divided by rank which will be very interesting to look at
