Why Aiming on Controller is BROKEN Right Now | Final Fantasy 7: First Soldier
Wondering why you're having so much trouble aiming with a controller in First Soldier? In this video, we explore one of the issues with the default controller settings in Final Fantasy VII: The First Soldier.
Basically, I did some in-game dead zone testing and it looks like the native dead zones are set to 25%! This number is VERY high for a shooter game, and it's why it feels so difficult to make small adjustments when aiming or tracking moving targets.
For comparison, most content creators for other battle royale games like Fortnite, PubG, and CoD suggest dead zones anywhere between 7% and 15% (some use 10% as the default). At any rate, 25% is a bit high, especially when you don't have the option to change it.
