The Royal Air Force and the German Luftwaffe are forging closer ties in the Black Sea region.

Two German Eurofighters have joined an RAF Typhoon detachment in Romania where Britain is leading a NATO Air Policing mission.

The eventual aim is a fully integrated British-German air policing operation starting as early as next year.
