There are a lot of games modes in DOTA2. The default on modes are All Pick in which each person selects a hero, and Single Draft in which a person gets to pick one of three random heroes. A lesser played mode is called "Captain's Mode" in which a single overarching leader designs the team. In this video you will see why and how it fails.
