I think that Stitch is following in his mentors footsteps (Dragovich) and attempting to resurrect the numbers brainwashing program used on Mason. He is successful in brainwashing Adler, and gets him to retrieve data from a crashed satellite that is broadcasting on frequencies that HE needs to broadcast on in order to send out his numbers signal and indoctrinate the key players he needs. There is a lot of evidence for this, and I think the Red Door fast travel system will play a part in the story this upcoming season.
