Why Do Critics Hate Venom? - PJ Explained
Personally I loved #Venom. It was funny, the CGI was to my satisfaction, and it exceeded my expectations on many fronts. Not the same for everyone else. Going in people expected gore, lots of gore. It's Venom afterall, you kind of expect that. Then they go in an see there's little if not no gore. Given, Venom does bite some heads off in the movie, but there's still no gore. I understand this gripe. But at the same time I don't. You went in knowing it was PG-13, shouldn't you have expected little gore? Nevertheless, this disappointed people. And with the success of R-rated superhero films like Deadpool and Logan, why not cash in on that? #VenomLetThereBeCarnage #PJExplained
