Why Does CDPR Love Netflix?
16Netflix is an absolutely massive streaming platform. It includes popular shows such as Stranger Things, Better Call Saul and Cobra Kai. But, today we won't be looking at those shows, we'll be looking at The Witcher Netflix and Cyberpunk: Edgerunners.
In this video, we'll be talking about how well Netflix has worked for CD Projekt RED with The Witcher and Cyberpunk.
The Witcher is a huge franchise with characters such as Geralt of Rivia, Yennefer, Ciri and Triss. The Witcher 1 started things off on PC, followed by the Witcher 2 and then The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, after all The Witcher books. The Witcher 3 was very popular. CD Projekt RED (CDPR) then released The Witcher on Netflix, starting with The Witcher Season 1 then The Witcher Season 2 and we should be getting The Witcher Season 3 soon! Cyberpunk 2077 had a rough launch but the Cyberpunk title is still very known by players on PlayStation, Stadia, Xbox and PC. A CD Projekt RED live stream announced Cyberpunk: Edgrunners and Patch 1.6 (Cyberpunk edgerunners update) for Cyberpunk 2077, they even announced a new Cyberpunk DLC that releases in 2023, we'll get into the new Cyberpunk 2077 DLC in a different video. In September, Cyberpunk: Edgerunners launched on Netflix with 10 episodes. This is now a very popular anime series related to gaming along with The Witcher Netflix franchise.
