Why Does My Yamaha R6 Make THIS NOISE?! *It Was Brand New*
114After installing a new chain and sprocket kit on my Yamaha R6, I noticed that a solid metal front sprocket makes some noise. A higher pitched hum sound compared to stock. So I learned that a rubber cushioned or dampened sprocket is what the R6 came with stock. So in todays video I install and new dampened sprocket to hear the difference. In person you can really tell how much quieter the cushioned sprocket is. Big difference for sure and the camera audio picks it up for the most part. Overall I do like the quieter sprocket and prefer to keep it like this.
