So recently, I have ventured into the land of Metal Fist. Or basically, Fighting Force speedrunning in general. I filled the gap, because there were no Fighting Force speedruns prior. Yay.

There's another gap though, the 2 player-speedruns. A longplay exists, but no speedrun. My brother came up with an idea, like "Hey yo, wanna do a speedrun with me? It's gon' be gud." I was like "Ye, five sure". So we tried to do a speedrun together, and......it was super slow. Because he has no idea about the strats I use, so around mid/3/4 of the game, I said hell with the race, let's have some fun. Without letting him know. OF COURSE. But he figured out.

I was Hawk, he was Mace, I won, of course :)

And this is what the game is supposed to be, fun. If you haven't tried beating your friends up at the beginning of a game, or even better, like I did, surprisingly, in the middle of a run, that has to be the best feeling ever. We laughed so much, all the way through.

So I said HEY. Why not spice things up with some effects to make it look like a fighting game, like Tekken/Mortal Kombat. By the way, I've seen the 1997 Eidos German demo recently, AND THERE WAS A 1v1 COMBAT MODE. Just like in Tekken. So what the hell, why is this not in the final game (sad face). I would SOOOOO LOVE to play that mode.
But I can't, so I at least did my best of representing the fight. All the links will be below, and I hope you enjoy it.
