Here’s something you can pass on to other people. My grandpa always ruins the birthday song and I love it. When everyone is singing “happy birthday to you” he yells “happy birthday to ME” so that the person
being sung to just laughs instead of standing there awkwardly. For the longest time I didn’t know what people were talking about when they said they didn’t like being sung to, until I had a birthday party on the other side of the family.
