Or rather, why I typically don't use it. Also my thoughts on jumpscares, indie horror games, AAA horror games and the influence of Let's Players on YouTube. (Click "Show More")

TL, DR version: As seen through the viral potential of games like Amnesia and Slender, Horror Let's Players have the opportunity to influence public perception of horror games and the direction that indie developers take them. I, for one, would like to see more atmospheric brilliance and fewer jumpscare-centric games, and I think that Let's Players have a chance to influence that direction with the way that they make videos.

If you want to skip past the background info and move straight into my main points, move to 9:21. I know a great deal of this is just rambling, but hopefully it's organized and logical enough. I know I typically don't do vlogs except to update you guys on upcoming videos and such, so this video might seem a little strange, and to be honest I'm a little nervous to upload it... But hey, after almost 900 videos, 2 years on YouTube and 10,000 subscribers I think it's time I tried something a little different.
