Why is Britain's most expensive ever warship in Oman?

Leading the UK Carrier Strike Group around the world, HMS Queen Elizabeth has docked in the Omani port of Duqm.

On a visit to the aircraft carrier, Defence Secretary Ben Wallace says he wants British personnel to see the world, and that Oman is an “all round great place to be”.

Hannah King (@FTVHan) and Sofie Cacoyannis (@sofiecacs) were given special access on board HMS Queen Elizabeth and to troops on exercise on Oman’s largest training area.
