Why Is Vampire Survivors Still So Fun?
16Hey hey folks, and welcome to my critique on Vampire Survivors. The main question I spend the video answering is how a game with such simple gameplay can compel a player not only to play long enough to survive the requisite 30 minutes, but to keep playing beyond that point. To finish the game, and even go through the list of unlocks.
To this end I narrate my own journey through Vampire Survivors, before wondering if it's just the unlocks themselves that kept me going past the end credits. I think it's a journey worth taking, and you might be surprised with the answers I ended up with.
